About UsWe are a non-denominational church, located in the "Heart of Central Oregon!" We open not only our doors, but also our hearts to you--unconditionally as did Jesus--to accept you as you are. Together we desire to experience the wonderful Grace of Jesus, His transforming Spirit, His nourishing Word, and the warmth of His Love. It is our desire that every person know Christ personally, and so we strive to live out Jesus' Great Commission, as found in Matthew 28:16-20.
We Believe...
...That the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, Holy Spirit inspired Word of God;
"the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation..."
...That mankind was created by God to be free moral agents. He has given us
both the gift and responsibility of choice. God waits for us to come to our
senses and return to Him (Luke 15:17--24; 2 Peter 3:9).
...That people become Christians only by following the Bible plan of
salvation. What made a Christian in the First Century will still make a
Christian in the Twenty-First!
- Faith in God and His Son Jesus (Mark 16:15,16),
- Repentance of sin (Acts 2:38; 2 Peter 3:9),
- Confession (Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9,10),
- Believer Baptism by Immersion (Acts 2:38; I Peter 3:21).
- Faithful Christian Life (Revelation 2:10; Hebrews 12:1-3).
...That all Christians everywhere should drop denominational names
(to denominate is to divide!), and restore themselves to the faith and practice of the
Church described in the New Testament (1 Corinthians 1:10-13; 3:16, 17). Jesus
prayed for the unity of all believers (John 17:20,21). The "Christian world"will never
be united under any other name!
Our desire is to be Christians only!
...That Christians should assemble together on the Lord's Day for worship,
(Hebrews 10:25): to pray, to study God's Word, to fellowship together, and especially
to observe the Lord's Supper (Communion); the weekly time that we remember the
awesome sacrifice that Jesus made for our sins (Acts 2:42; 20:7).
...That God intends for every local congregation of believers to become a
family that loves one another, honors one another, builds up one another, accepts
one another, cares for one another, serves one another, bears one another's
burden, shows forbearance to one another, is kind to one another, values one
another, comforts one another, encourages one another, and prays for one another.
Wouldn't you like to be part of a church like that?
