Interim Pastor, Terry O'Casey, D.Min.
Dr. Terry O’Casey is both a Pastor & Professor. Terry grew up in one of the largest churches in Orange County, California. He has been both a youth and Senior Pastor since in 1979. He specializes in turn-around churches, having been ordained both as a Pastor and an Evangelist (as described in I & II Timothy-working with established churches to strengthen them). Dr. O’Casey has worked with turn-around Churches in the high desert of California, the coast of Oregon, as well as the high desert of Oregon.
Since 2011, Dr. O’Casey has taught, and is currently teaching, at NCU (Eugene, OR). His primary teaching schedule includes “Engaging with the Bible,” Surveys of both the Old and New Testaments, Preaching, Pastoral Leadership, Worship and Community and discipleship. Dr. O’Casey is the 2011 recipient of the NCU’s Professor of the Year award, an award given by the students.
Terry has authored numerous articles dealing with the life of the church and is a frequent conference and church camp speaker. He is currently serving as Interim Pastor for Madras Christian Church, while we are seeking a full-time minister, in addition to teaching at NCU.
