Dr. Walt & Su Chamberlain

Walt and Su started their ministry here at the Madras Christian Church on Mother's Day, 2003.  They left a 9-year ministry in Ohio when they felt a calling to minister here.  They have 2 grown (and married) sons, and 4 grandchildren, all living in Idaho.  They have a genuine love for people and want to see everyone come to Christ and experience the joy of a relationship with Him.  

During their ministry here, our church has celebrated it's 100th Anniversary!  We enjoyed a month-long celebration with events such as an Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social with a Barber Shop Quartet, a Western Wear Sunday with a Buckaroo Breakfast, a Professional Photograph with the whole church outside the building that congregation could purchase if they wanted, and more.  

Pastor Walt just recently joined City Council for the city of Madras.  Shortly after he came, he started our Wonderful Wednesdays Program - (listed on our home page) in which we still enjoy today!  

During the week, Su works at the Madras High School as secretary to 2 Assistant Principals & a Dean of Students.  She also sings in our church choir, teaches Children's Church and Preschool Sunday School (besides all the wonderful duties that a pastor's wife is "bestowed.")
